I am a 30-something former high school Biology teacher now turned stay-at-home mother of four young children. I have an 11 year old daughter and three sons – a 7 year old, a 4 year old and a 1 year old. There are times when they drive me utterly bonkers, but even then I still love them. After all, it took a lot of effort to get them here.
I have a remarkable husband who I have been married to for 13 years and he loves me dearly … faults and all. He is extremely supportive of me and who I am.
I am also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I don’t know how I would function without the gospel in my life.
I love to read and get lost in a good book. I love to organize. I love things that are clean, but I don’t always like to do the cleaning. I love to go to the gym – mainly because I am grumpy when I don’t exercise. I also love to eat good food – good bread and good dark chocolate are a must have.
I live in the rainy and gloomy, but sometimes sunny Pacific Northwest. I am originally from Southern California (Los Angeles to be exact), but we are learning to love being surrounded by green.
(And in case you were wondering, to protect both the guilty and innocent, I use aliases on my blog. My husband is “Randy,” my daughter is “Keri,” my oldest son is “Cory,” my next son is “Eli” and my new baby is “Ari.” I go by “Lucy.”)
