About Me

I am a 30-something former high school Biology teacher now turned stay-at-home mother of two young children. I have a 6 year old daughter and a 3 year old son, and most of the time I enjoy them. There are times when they drive me utterly bonkers, but even then I still love them. After all, it took a lot of effort to get them here.

I have a remarkable husband who I have been married to for nearly 10 years and he loves me dearly … faults and all. He is extremely supportive of me and who I am.

I am also LDS (Mormon) and I don’t know how I would function without the gospel in my life.

I love to read. I love to organize. I love things that are clean, but I don’t always like to do the cleaning. I love to go to the gym - mainly because I am grumpy when I don’t go. I also love to eat good food - good bread and good chocolate are a must have.

I live in the rainy and gloomy, but sometimes sunny Pacific Northwest. My husband is attending graduate school and he should be done with his doctorate within a little over a year … at least we are hoping that that is the truth. Who knows where we will be after that?!?
