Send a Smile – Smilegram Paper Review and Giveaway

Smilegram Paper was born when creator Carey Grund could not find lined stationary for kids anywhere in the marketplace. Who would have thought this void existed?

This frustrated Carey so she set out out to design her own line of kids stationary.  Stationary that would be “fun, colorful and unique.”  Stationary that would “encourage children to write” and in a setting that would be naturally enjoyable so they could better express their inner self.  After all, handwriting, especially legible handwriting, is an important life skill even though we live in such a digital age.  As a parent and as an educator, I firmly believe this.

Smilegram Paper is an exceptional tool for children.  It gives them a fun and bright opportunity to practice their handwriting skills and it provides a place for them to express their personal thoughts.  They can send thank you notes with the stationary, keep a journal on the writing tablets or make to-do lists with the personalized stationary line.

I was recently sent some Smilegram Paper to review.  As soon as my 10 year old daughter saw it, her eyes lit up and she said, “Wow!  That’s cool paper.”  Even though she is older and has been writing longer, she still thoroughly enjoyed composing a letter with the paper.

My 6 year old son who is in first grade also adored the stationary and he was excited to write a letter to send in the mail.

Smilegram Paper is an eco-friendly company.  Their stationary (which comes in sheets of 12 and includes envelopes) and their writing tablets (which contains 15 pages) come in many different themes for both boys and girls.

Smilegram Paper also would make lovely gifts for kids and teachers.  And with the holiday season fast approaching, they would make the perfect stocking stuffer.

  1. Oh yes, so needed! I am a big believer/lover of stationary and kids writing notes and letters and thank you cards and indeed lined stationary is pretty much nonexistent for kids old enough to actually write. So yes, what a great company!

  2. JH LOVES writing letters to his cousins who live far away. This would make it extra special. I love the ‘get up and go’ set, with the cute red car.

  3. Umm, hello, I’m all over the cupcakes–or any of them for that matter. I am the kid who asked for stationary sets as a kid. I would write letters to anyone (even businesses) with my stationary telling them what I liked about them. I love stuff like this.

  4. left a facebook comment about it. By the way, with my last comment, I know this is stationary for kiddos! Of course, Michael would utilize it. I’m just saying, I’m totally in love with it as an adult as well. ;)

  5. Oh the cutie pie cupcake stationary is so darn cute! What a smart idea for stationary!

  6. I was hoping they had a “thank you” stationery so I could encourage my kids to write thank you notes. I didn’t see any, so I would probably get the crayon one and personalize it with the words Thank You! at the top.

  7. Wendy

Oh the possibilities. My girls love writing letters! I was sad to hear about the possibility of cursive hand writing not being taught anymore in school. I’d probably order anything with bugs on it. Cute stuff!

  8. Hey cousin! I just found your blog! I love it. LEts see, I would get that color me happy stationary so my boys and my girl could use it

    Your family is beautiful
