** Making sweet Ari laugh, which he does so easily. The sound is precious and priceless!
** The abundant sunshine I have been able to soak up. I think I have been in its rays more in the last two weeks than I have all summer.
** Making healthy smoothies with the kids and eating dinner on the back deck … using moving boxes as tables
.
** The school bus driver that kindly takes my kids to and from school.
** Finding sweet notes from Keri that she has left for me.
** The gleaming hardwood floors and the decorative door frames in our new home.
** The amazing and proactive teachers my kids have.
** Sipping delicious hot chocolate on crisp almost-Autumn mornings.
** Chatting with Rudy about all the changes 2011 has brought … many dreams have been fulfilled.
** Watching Keri and Cory learn to pepper (play volleyball) in our backyard.
** Snuggling with Eli on the couch.
** Somehow surviving the daily hours between 4 and 9 pm (though some days I wish I could temporarily be put in a medically induced coma during these draining hours) and then having my thoughts to myself after the kids are FINALLY all quietly in bed.
** Driving down the hill in my area and seeing the majestic tree covered mountains in the distance. I certainly live in one of the most beautiful places!

A baby’s laugh is my most favorite sound in the whole world!
I love this! I love your attitude of positivity! I think I know which library you mean. When we were looking at where to live, I looked at which libraries were close and I read something about the views at a particular one. It’s a really gorgeous new library to boot, right? You’re a good example of always seeing the good in things and in people!
Someday maybe I can fly up there and see all this beauty also!
I love all the recognizing of the small and simple things that make life so great. From a great bus driver to the sunshine, to snuggles and giggles and eating outside. (Which, by the way, is divine. We eat outside until about November!).
You deserve only the best! I’m glad things are going so well!
Awesome!!!!!!!
Where you live is pretty stunning. Love this post. Thanks for reminding me to be grateful for the simple things!
