A Baby Quilt and Some Other Updates

My dear Aunt  just sent me one of the most amazing quilts ever!  I absolutely ADORE the color of all the fabrics she (with the help of her daughter) chose, the bright design and fun pattern they created, and the way they put it all together … everything about it is remarkable!

Truly I am in love!  Thank you for creating such a heartfelt gift!  We definitely appreciate it!

Brightly colored tropical fish cover the back of the quilt.  The border is blue with polka dots on it.

And in other news, the older kids are on Spring Break this week from school.  Too bad we can’t do a whole lot since their little brother, Eli, is sick yet again.

Keri and Cory enjoying their home-bound time by reading in their “reading box.”

On the last day of his 10 day antibiotic round for his double ear infection, Eli came down with a high fever that lasted for about 4 days.  Turns out he caught a lovely viral throat infection.  Hopefully he is on the mend and hopefully our house will be germ free before our new little one joins us … sometime between now and next Friday.

When I had my doctor appointment the other day, I was surprised to find out that I have already started dilating.  We’ll see if we make it this time to my medical induction date :) .
