Ultrasounds Galore

I am now 24 weeks pregnant with this little tyke and yesterday I went in for yet another ultrasound … ultrasound #8.  (I suppose that is one of the “perks” of having high risk pregnancies – you get to see your little one projected on video screen quite often during the pregnancy.)  We even have a 3D video clip of him sucking his thumb!

Nearly every profile picture we have of him, he is either sucking
his thumb or he has his hand in his face.

Thankfully everything is continuing to go smoothly.  However, it didn’t really surprise me in the least bit that this little guy wants to be just like his brothers.  (See here and here.)

He is supposed to be weighing in just a bit over a pound. Not him.  According to their measurements, which granted aren’t 100% accurate, he is already measuring over the 95th percentile?!

Wowsers!?!

I can’t believe we get to meet him sometime at the end of April.  The time is fast approaching. So much to get done before he graces us with his presence!

Woooooah! I feel like a rotten friend for not knowing. Congratulations!!!! It just makes me smile knowing that you are going to have 4 kids. That’s a very healthy number for someone who has such difficulty, and has to endure so much, having kids. I’m amazed by you.

  3. Those pictures just make it so real, don’t they? I’m so excited for you guys! And so relieved that everything is going well. Yay!

Neil and I are starting to talk about number four. Possibly in the fall or early winter… =)

  4. Yay for babies! I wish I was having another one…how I love my babes!

I love the title of your blog too…very, very awesome!

So, one of the last times I played V-ball for real, I had just had my son…and my body must’ve been still really flexible…because I pulled my shoulder muscle big time…getting old stinks! LOL But yes, I’d love to play ya! :)

  5. Even tho I had my children many years ago, I can still get weepy-eyed thinking about the ultrasound pictures we came home with from the doctor’s office and proudly showing to all. Children are such a blessing from the Lord.

  6. Precious! I love that he is already in the 95%! He is going to be just darling!

  7. Wow!
    Wow!
    Awesome!

I love the pregnancy where I got to see lots of pictures because my baby was breach. But I also loved the pregnancy where I didn’t really get to see any because they couldn’t determine my due date and had to have a really early ultrasound.

This almost makes me want to get pregnant again!

    Almost.
