Sickness From Under the Laundry Pile
While I was driving to pick Keri up from school yesterday afternoon, poor Cory got sick and threw up multiple times in the car … all during our 4 minute drive.
He then threw up all night and is still miserable today. I have already done at least 5 loads of laundry. I hope no one else in our family catches this bug and I hope these debilitating headaches I have been getting, including today, go away soon … or heaven help us.

Oh, you poor dears! I hope no one else gets it either. But if you do that it passes quickly and doesn’t linger.

Oh honey, how horrible! I hope he (and you!) recover quickly. It’s so hard to function with that kind of stuff going on.
Okay…not so much hard as impossible!

We just got over our week long vomiting round as well. I love that pile of laundry photo. I reminds me of a painting I just did recently on mountains and mountains of laundry (I posted it on my blog if you want to check it out).
Good luck getting through the flu bug (and trying not to catch it yourself too)!

yuck! I well remember those days. Sometimes a bag of frozen peas under a light weight towel helped my horrible headaches. Praying no one else gets sick.
Love you

Poor guy! And poor mom! Nothing better than cleaning up after someone throws up. We’ve been dealing with colds and fevers this week but *knock on wood* no flu bugs.

I feel for you!! Three of our four got sick on the same night and we had tag-team throw-uping for 7 hours - literally 10 minutes from the start of one to the start of the next. My laundry pile was unbelievably insane, daunting, and oh-so-overwhelming.
Hope that all yours are feeling better and staying better - and you too!

Oh! I’m so sorry! For the headaches—are they migraine like? If so, see if you can find some MygraFew from Nature’s Way at your local health food store. You take one a day forever, basically.
My favorite remedy for debilitating headaches is cranial-sacral therapy from a nearby therapist. Worth looking up ’cause it always works for my husband and I. Good enough that the Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati uses them. (D.O.’s are being trained in their techniques.)

I didn’t know you were having bad headaches (feeling like a not too good friend right now). I hope you know that we would love to have Cory (and Keri) come and play anytime you need a mommy break. I could even come pick him up during school hours when I have a spare seat for his carseat. Please call me if I can help.
And good luck with the laundry. I’d offer to help there but I’ve got my own Mt. Everest to wash everyday. Hang in there!

Ugh and ugh. I’ve got a sick kid right now, too, but at least there’s no throw-up involved at this point . . . knock on wood.
Hope your headaches get a break soon as well. I know the joys (haha) of migraines all too well. No fun.

Poor Cory, I hope the little man feels better soon.
And ugh for the 5 piles of laundry…
