Ever since I can remember, I have always had a quote fetish. I thought it would be fun to share some pertaining to food, after all, eating is something that consumes much of our time:
One of the very nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing and devote our attention to eating. ~Luciano Pavarotti and William Wright
And even though I actually love eating plain, fresh vegetables with a little bit of salt and pepper (I know, I am odd), I still chuckled at this quote:
Vegetables are a must on a diet. I suggest carrot cake, zucchini bread, and pumpkin pie. ~Jim Davis
Monday: Lasagna and veggies
Tuesday: White Sauce Chicken Enchiladas, fruit and veggies
Wednesday: Leftovers
Thursday: Leftovers a.k.a clean out the fridge day
Friday: Creamy Herbed Pork Chops, potatoes and veggies
Saturday: Beef Stew, fruit and veggies
Sunday: My Day Off

Enjoy your first week of Autumn! Make sure to take some time to enjoy the beautiful leaves as they change colors. (Picture courtesy of Google.)

Wow, you’re on the ball! It’s Sunday, Girlie! The Creamy Herbed Pork Chops sound terrific–I can usually get boneless chops for less than ground beef or chicken breast here, so they’re a weekly staple! I’ve been wanting a new recipe, thanks!
I agree, the Pork Chops sound so good. I’ll have to give them a try.
Ahh, Autumn bliss is on it’s way.
ooohhh those enchiladas sound YUMMY! definitely something to try at our house since the littlest monkey doesn’t like the spice of regular enchilada sauce. this one sound much more tame and right up his alley. thanks!
and i am so jealous of those of you who get to enjoy the changing color of the season! that does not happen here :O( take a moment or two to enjoy it for me as well :O)

I love the Jim Davis quote!! Your menu sounds yummy! I need to get better at planning things out. I know it would save me a lot of headache and we would eat better.
Everything about eating is sort of ritualistic, isn’t it?
