Oh, no. Mr. Clean Magic Eraser won’t work on that!
I think I had better lock my Sharpies up before that happens in my house.
September 18, 2007 at 12:45 PM
Funny you should post this . . .
I just walked up my stairs today and saw a little teeny, tiny scribbled word down by the baseboard. The word was “Scrabble.” I have no idea why Older Girl chose to write “Scrabble” on the wall, but I was just thinking of posting about it. Now maybe I’ll actually do it
September 18, 2007 at 1:14 PM
NOOOOOOOOO! But he looks so innocent!
September 18, 2007 at 2:56 PM
naughty naughty boy. Those Sharpies are ALWAYS getting me in trouble!
September 18, 2007 at 3:34 PM
he looked very pleased with himself in that photo =)
September 18, 2007 at 3:39 PM
Oh, lol! What a cute little devilish smile! Watch out for those sharpies!!!
September 18, 2007 at 4:06 PM
Okay, that is THE best WW I’ve seen in a loooong time!
September 18, 2007 at 4:33 PM
Ha! Guess there goes your goal for an early bedtime–you’ll be soaking laundry tonight! And who could get mad at a sweet face like that?
September 18, 2007 at 4:55 PM
Ooooooohhhh nooooo not the SHARPIE!!
Evil evil evil Sharpies!
September 18, 2007 at 5:52 PM
in a word: hilarious. Note to self, only buy washable markers.
September 18, 2007 at 6:04 PM
Just a little artistic expression!
September 18, 2007 at 6:05 PM
No worries. There’s always an alternative. Ask your little boy to grab the same pen, and draw on the same bag and *woot* it’s artistic, don’t you think so? Have fun!
September 18, 2007 at 6:07 PM
My my my! I think I know what that is. I see that too with my grandchildren.
Mine is up too.
September 18, 2007 at 6:10 PM
Ha ha–That was a great wordless Wed. Though I agree with Amber. He looks way too innocent!!
September 18, 2007 at 6:29 PM
You’d never guess a happy face like that could be in his blue period!
September 18, 2007 at 6:32 PM
Oh my, I’ve lost many things this way too. They just can’t help themselves. What a great way to put this together though. Have a great WW.
September 18, 2007 at 6:45 PM
I am so jealous yours was a bag instead of the back of your oversized chair…oh and the arm of your couch…How sweet is this combination!!!!
September 18, 2007 at 6:48 PM
and what a cute culprit he is.
happy ww!

Very cute WW post!
Cute grin, too! Just like my little guy…..the grin is when you KNOW something is up!
September 18, 2007 at 7:01 PM
Beautiful smile…ha-ha…naughty boy!
September 18, 2007 at 7:20 PM
I hope we are past that!! You can tell the story on his wedding day.
September 18, 2007 at 7:28 PM
He’s innocent, I’m sure! What a cutie.
September 18, 2007 at 7:49 PM
Been there done that! Good luck cleaning it up. My nephew once went through my sisters entire house, leaving a black sharpie line on every wall. Their only choice was to repaint!
September 18, 2007 at 7:51 PM
uh, oh..love the pictures. This happens around our house too…Just when you think the pen is out of reach.hmmm
Thanks for visiting me too!
September 18, 2007 at 7:53 PM
My son signed my wood floors in almost EVERY room with one of those lovely pens! That was ten years ago it always makes me smile when I see the one under my bed! Cute pics
September 18, 2007 at 7:57 PM
Wonderful WW photo! Who me?…
My WW photos honor the Jena 6. I encourage you to either attend the protest march scheduled for 9/20/07 in Jena, LA or WEAR ALL BLACK on Thursday!
peace, Villager

September 18, 2007 at 9:42 PM

cute little boy
September 18, 2007 at 9:53 PM
I want to get one of those cool bagz for my wife, do you by chance have a red Sharpie???????????
September 18, 2007 at 10:51 PM
at least it was your bag and not the beautiful comfy new couch you got for christmas! no….i’m not still bitter really i’m not ;O)
September 18, 2007 at 11:16 PM
Who’d think such an angelic face could lay behind such mischief! I used to write over everything as a kid, including walls, doors, furniture – and people, if they were unlucky enough to fall asleep within reach of my marker pen.
September 19, 2007 at 1:02 AM
Great post. I love the progression from the crime to the evidence to the angel-faced perp ! Happy WW!
September 19, 2007 at 3:30 AM
Hilarious! I love this! Love Sharpies, just a matter of time before my two year old son finds ours! LOL
September 19, 2007 at 4:39 AM
oh dear! i got this a lot from two boys too. Happy WW
Mine is up now at The FourSeasons of My Life hope you can visit me .
September 19, 2007 at 5:24 AM
Oh no! My son wrote on our hardwood floors with one when he was 2! I used nail polish remover and it came up. I wiped quickly and I don’t think it affected the finish.
September 19, 2007 at 5:34 AM
I know the feeling. My son is doing all the writing-everywhere these days!
September 19, 2007 at 6:08 AM
He looks so sweet! But that’s what helps him get away with things, isn’t it? At least that’s how it is at my house.
Great using the pics to tell the story!
September 19, 2007 at 6:28 AM
He looks so innocent… I suppose that’s the one’s you have to watch out for the MOST!!
Thanks for the “Sharpie Warning.”
September 19, 2007 at 7:03 AM
Mama said there’d be days like this! Love the sequencing! Come by and check out my grand baby blogging!
September 19, 2007 at 7:04 AM
Love it — been there.
September 19, 2007 at 7:29 AM
oh man….
but clever post
really, really clever…
September 19, 2007 at 7:42 AM
LOL! He’s lucky he’s cute! Try rubbing alcohol.
September 19, 2007 at 8:48 AM
YIKES! Mine is a similar theme
happy WW!:D
September 19, 2007 at 9:06 AM
haha! Yeah…he’s such a CUTE culprit though!
September 19, 2007 at 9:36 AM
Ruh roh! oops! We normally have pens and markers do their best art work in the washer ..or dryer. EEK! The culprit is adorable… I hope he’s been pardoned.
September 19, 2007 at 9:53 AM
Uh Oh! Could such an angel-face commit such an offense? At least it was only a bag…mine did her whole room…all 4 walls! That was before the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser hit the market. In case you ever wondered…it takes 2 coats of Kilz and 2 coats of latex paint to cover Crayola Markers!
September 19, 2007 at 4:40 PM
Sharpies are evil.
September 19, 2007 at 5:00 PM
How is it that they can find the PERMANENT markers no matter how well we think they are hidden??? At least it wasn’t furniture or clothes!
September 19, 2007 at 5:11 PM
Oh no! Those darn Sharpies! They should have kid proof caps!
He’s sure a cutie pie!
Happy WW!
September 20, 2007 at 7:03 AM
LOVE IT! You can show him this one day when he’s older. Great idea for WW!
