Menu Plan Monday – Sept. 10, 2007

School is now officially in session.

Even though Keri started first grade last Wednesday, this is our first full week with our new schedule. Soccer practices are on Monday’s, gymnastics is on Wednesday’s, soccer games are on Saturday’s and life occurs somewhere in between. Thankfully we have all been adjusting pretty well to our new routine … that is as long as Cory continues to cooperate and still take his nap. Even if his “nap” turns into quiet time in the crib, that will be fine with me. Moms desperately need to have some alone and quiet time during the day to keep their sanity … or at least attempt to keep their sanity.

Speaking of moms, if you are a mother or a soon to be mother and you are looking for a stroller, then make sure you enter my free stroller giveaway. Even if you are a grandma, it never hurts to have your own stroller in the house for when grandkids come to visit.

On to the menu:

Monday: Thai Chicken Wraps and fruit

Tuesday: Shepherd’s Pie, fruit and veggies

Wednesday: Leftovers

Thursday: Lemon Herb Chicken, Vegetable Couscous and fruit

Friday: California Spanish Salad and fruit

Saturday: Red Sauce Enchiladas and veggies (carry over meal from last week)

Sunday: My day off
