Sand pails and shovels are put away, beach balls are deflated and back-to-school shopping is now complete. It is hard to believe that it is already that time of year again. On Tuesday we have Keri’s First Grade Meet-and-Greet and then school officially starts on Wednesday. This summer has definitely not been dull, and as much as I have enjoyed all of our many adventures, I am kind of excited to get back into the regular routine of life.
I don’t think my menu will be overly exciting this time around. My sister and her family were in town all week last week and since they rented a house and went grocery shopping while they were here, we have inherited all of their leftover food. It is enough to feed a small army. However, if you are interested I did post my Berry Smoothies recipe.
Monday: Leftovers – What a gourmet Labor Day menu
! At least I don’t have to cook.
Tuesday: Sloppy Joes, fruit and salad – I need to use up the Costco bag of hamburger buns my sister bought.
Wednesday: Swiss Chicken Bake and veggies
Thursday: More Leftovers
Friday: Ham Sandwiches, fruit and veggies
Saturday: Red Sauce Enchiladas and veggies
Sunday: My Day Off
As usual, if you never know what to cook for dinner and/or you need more recipes, please visit Laura The Organizing Junkie for more Menu Plan Monday participants.
