Laura The Organizing Junkie recently tagged me for the “Seven Things I Love About Me” meme. She said, “It’s not often enough I think about the things I like about myself and I’m betting that is the same for most women. What a great exercise and probably something we should do more often.”
I wholeheartedly agree with her. Sometimes we are our own worst enemy. What happened to following the commandment to be of good cheer? I think that includes being kind to ourselves.
1. I love the fact that I love to eat vegetables. Every day I eat a cucumber and tomato salad with seasoned rice vinegar and that is just the start of my veggie consumption. Of course, this also balances out my love for chocolate.
2. I love the fact that I am addicted to reading and that I have a passion for lifelong learning. History, economics, piano lessons, photography, creative writing … my interests are incredibly varied.
3. I love the fact that I enjoy exercising. Five days a week I bless my body with some form of aerobic activity.
