It never ceases to amaze me how some people happen on to my blog. A few of the search queries at least make sense and if you gave me a minute I could probably tell you what post came up when someone clicked over to my site from the search engine. Other phrases are just funny and then others are plain bizarre.
Maybe I don’t know my blog as well as I thought I did?
Here are a few search engine terms that have recently been utilized. I was going to rank them based on their entertaining quality, but I am in a lazy mood so I am merely going to list them. However, you can tell me which one made you chuckle the most …
1. pictures of rotten eggs
2. ketchup fetish
3. I get grumpy when I don’t sleep well
4. motivational words to floss my teeth
5. plugged up ear wax
6. laughter + ordinary
7. lady not eating american idol
8. cheese and steak scary
9. NO PATIENCE VERY IRRITABLE
10. my hot comments
11. my mom cut my hair as punishment
12. bathrooms occupied
13. costco cold sore

Ketchup Fetish? LOL It’s always amazing (and funny) how people find our blogs.

Well, my blog is pretty new yet so I don’t think I will have many visitors via search engine results, however, I think those are hysterical!!! Have a great day and happy Thursday. C’mon over and check out my TT. Can’t wait to see you there!

Costco Coldsore??? Huh???
I like Ketchup Fetish, too.
I get really fun searches: Chinese Slut, anything having to do with green hair (search my blog for the whole story there; it’s a fun one), and all the names of my various fictional characters.
Happy TT !

Now I have to find the post with the costco cold sore, yuck!
I finally figured out how to find the search terms, like a previous poster, I don’t have many right now.

Funny! I love looking at search terms…what are people thinking?
Just came across your blog today…

Keyword searches are such a trip. I was getting scared for awhile after some of the ones that came in. It’s amazing. Great list. Happy Thursday

those are AWESOME. who knew that Google analytics could bring us such joy?!
May 30, 2007 at 8:13 PM
I have to find this for my blog. I love Google analytics. It’s my friend. I’m wondering what “my hot comment” was really a search for. Maybe I don’t really want to know.

I’m wondering if that “mom cut my hair as punishment” was from my sons. I swore I’d shave it down to next to nothing if they didn’t start combing it.
They look like messy guinea pigs when they go off to school and I’m tired of reminding them to clean up properly!

“lady not eating american idol” has to be my favorite. Eating American Idol is all the rage these days. Mmmm, fresh Blake with a side of Jordan. Does that come with Doolittle?
May 31, 2007 at 6:35 AM
I would like to know what the person who searched “bathrooms occupied” thought they would accomplish?
If the bathrooms are occupied, find another one or wait. Searching the internet isnt going to solve THAT problem…
Oy vay… sometimes these searches are hilarious and other times its just like… Really? I mean you REALLY REALLY wanted to search THAT?
May 31, 2007 at 6:38 AM
‘Mom cut my hair as punishment’ is one of my favorites. So far the search queries have been pretty tame for my site, mostly people searching for bees or beehive stuff.
May 31, 2007 at 6:47 AM
I just went and checked my stats and there was a search query for”Don’t eat the prophet!” Haha!
May 31, 2007 at 7:48 AM
pictures of rotten eggs
ketchup fetish
my mom cut my hair as punishment
Those are so awesome. HA!
May 31, 2007 at 8:11 AM
Too funny. I think I like #7 the most.

“lady not eating American Idol” — I just think, Why would anyone ever type that into google?
Very funny!
“NO PATIENCE VERY IRRITABLE” Sounds like something I experience every so often…
May 31, 2007 at 8:50 AM
Those are great! LOL make sure any reference to bodily functions are mispelled so you don’t get nasty searches like I do. People looking for spank1ng and p00p or p.e.e and nasty things about it.
I love search engine TT! Good stuff!
I laughed at the ketchup fetish, but they are all great!
May 31, 2007 at 9:47 AM
Ketchup fetish. LOL. Mine is about my recent trip to San Diego.
May 31, 2007 at 10:21 AM
I was planning to do a list like this soon for TT! I get the most bizarre searches. And my blog is totally friendly, so I have no idea.
May 31, 2007 at 11:45 AM
Call me an idiot, no really , go ahead- but how do you find out this information? These are funny!
May 31, 2007 at 12:21 PM
You do have some funny searches…they all make me laugh. I actually think I can recall alot of the posts that brought them to your site.
I too have a ketchup fetish…but haven’t blogged about it yet!
May 31, 2007 at 2:26 PM
Motivaitonal words to floss my teeth? Now there’s an idea for a blog entry! Lol!
May 31, 2007 at 2:40 PM
I like the flossing your teeth one! I need that too!
May 31, 2007 at 2:44 PM
I also want to know how to do this. Anyone for an explanation. (I also feel like an idiot for not being able to figure it out!)
May 31, 2007 at 5:46 PM
Definitely ketchup fetish. What on earth?!
